Customer case | The Staff Solutions
Visitor registration with training and instructions upfront
The Staff Solutions wanted to digitise the visitor registration process. DX-Solutions built Gatehouse: a multilingual portal that guides visitors from preparing their visit to registering on site, with required training and instructions prior to access.

About The Staff Solutions and Gatehouse
The Staff Solutions approached DX-Solutions to develop a portal that could digitise the visitor registration process. The result was Gatehouse, an application managed by the client itself.
Access requires more than a registration
Registering visitors was an administrative and manual process. Visitors come once or frequently, and some visits require training or instructions before access is possible.
Think of a training course to enter a food company, or procedures for access to an airport. The solution had to handle these different application contexts, in the visitor's language, and also work at an unstaffed reception or entrance.
Registration flows, training and instructions can be configured per type of visit.

Our contribution
A multilingual front and back office
In Symfony we built a multilingual front office for visitors and a back office for the administrator. Labels and QR codes are printed automatically via Printnode.
Visitors prepare their visit in advance, complete the required training or instructions and check in and out easily on site. For each type of visit, the client configures which steps and instructions are needed.

What Gatehouse makes possible
Digital registration
The manual registration process was replaced by a guided digital flow.
A prepared visit
Visitors complete the required training and instructions in advance, in their own language.
Managed by the client
The Staff Solutions manages the application itself and stays in control of its further development.
