About Artex Fashion

Artex Fashion is a Belgian fashion chain with several physical stores and online sales. Behind those sales channels lies a daily operation of product information, store stock, orders and logistics.

The question started with a webshop

When Artex Fashion approached DX-Solutions, we first looked at whether an existing e-commerce solution could meet the need. During further analysis it became clear where the real challenge lay: fitting in with the specific way Artex operates.

SoftTouch supported the ERP and the store tills. The online environment had to work with that existing foundation, take stock across multiple stores into account and connect to the logistics processing. That is why custom development around those processes was chosen.

The internal processes helped determine how the online solution had to work.

A platform tailored to daily operations

Custom e-commerce

We developed an online environment that fits the specific processes of Artex. The design by OMcollective was translated into a working application.

Connection with SoftTouch

The integration connects the webshop to the ERP that also controls the store tills. Products, stock and orders are exchanged between the systems involved.

Stock and logistics

The solution takes real-time stock across different stores into account and connects to the logistics flow and daily transactions.
